Located in Aurora, Colorado, this multi-family affordable housing project was tight for space but still demanded an enriching courtyard experience to brighten the lives of the families who will call it home. In working with the architects and civil engineers, we were able to conceptualize and implement a unique and natural play experience that offered water quality measures for roof run-off.

This project serves as a reminder for me that no matter how little space is left over for function, we can always instill intentionality and a sense of place for our client and future site users alike.
